I'm having a huge issue. I have become a reward point slot machine addict. I even lost my husbands points as well!! He doesn't think it's to funny! LOL He has decided to change his pass word on me. It's probable the smart thing to do. He wanted the LCD TV so bad! Every time I get more points, I lose them all! I have lost thousands…which means a lot of tickets! I'm so not a gambler. But after this reward points challenge….I'm going to need help... Carol QX104 Country/Winipeg Listener
Loyalty + asking opinions and reporting on what they tell you via email = higher ratings. ;-> Congrats for doing such a great job on this program. Jaye Albright Albright & O'Malley
We've seen a 'huge' spike in the number of people participating in the mediascore music surveys since offering QX Country Club Rewards Program bonus points for completing the surveys. We generally were averaging 400 completes per survey (lower during the summer). With the current survey, the first to offer points for completion, we've had 1080 participate in this survey so far!

I am amazed at the things that my husband
& I do because of your frequent rocker program. We went to
see the Marley boys last Friday, then Saturday we went to Lipscomb
Mitsubishi to get a keyword from Brian & ended up buying a
brand new 2005 Galant! We needed a new car, but the only reason
we went in was to get the keyword. Their salesmen were really
on the ball & took advantage of the people coming in. I thank
you for all that you do for us. We have a lot of fun & really
like all the people that work for Q102.1. Thank you for making
our lives more exciting.

The more I see Radio's audience fragment into
" Options," the more I see the major option choice as
on line. If we understand the value of radio CUME and sample,
what is to be said for Internet CUME and sample? I hope broadcasters
realize how your service relates to Audience and Revenue in that
order, as opposed to the traditional model of Audience, Arbitron
and Revenue in that order. In Short, the entire internet culture
through REWARDS may produce for a 4th rated station, the revenue
equal to a number one ranked station. Sure you always have to
have a great product but the ratings industry is very flawed.
Now, cost per point becomes cost per reward.

Our Clients...success story after success
story.
They want more!
And, clients who are not on the program are wondering why.
Our listeners are coming out of the woodwork. They are everywhere
and this program has made it so easy to develop a relationship
with them. Being on a first name basis with tons of our listeners
puts us above and beyond the competition. They know they are important
to us! INCREDIBLE!
I'd like to share some exciting things that have been happening
at KQRA.
We had a sold out crowd at our concert Saturday night. 800+ people.
Before doors opened you saw around 600+ in line waiting to get
in. I printed out 300+ slips with the keyword on it and we began
to hand them out. When we did everyone wanted one. We heard "I'm
a Frequent rocker", "I NEED a keyword!" and all
the slips were gone in less than a minute. The rest of the night
we had listener after listener asking "what's the keyword".
The competition just stood there and watched us. It was GREAT!
Saturday KQRA had a remote at Sprint from 1-3pm and a remote at
Hawaiian Sun Tanning from 4-7. Sprint remote went well with 50+
people but here's the cool part......
Hawaiian Sun put up this offer while we were there. $1.02 to sign
up for their Tan Club where they draft $19.95 a month out of your
bank account for unlimited monthly tanning. Normally the sign
up fee is $75.00 but for Frequent Rocker's it was $1.02. After
the Sprint Remote all the girls that work at Sprint came to Hawaiian
Sun and signed up! We had 15+ Frequent Rockers sign up for the
Tan Club. Hawaiian Sun said they usually get 1 or 2 a day. SUCCESS!
And They we SO happy!
It was Exciting. Hawaiian Sun also did a "Points with Purchase"
promotion with us and had 107 people make a purchase!
Just a few exciting things that happened this weekend at KQRA
in Springfield, MO.

More confirmation that this is the way to
go. We had a steady stream of auction winners in the station today.
(We had 48 winners on Thursday.) They were excited about the program
and appreciative of winning their prizes. They
knew exactly what they had won, and the Dunkin Donuts prize
pack winner was as happy as the digital camera winner. And everyone
wanted to rush back to their cars so they wouldn't miss hearing
another Keyword! Is this a great country or what?.

The program looks like a big time success
for you... I am thrilled. You deserve a whole lot of credit for
doing positive for the radio industry.

Here's an overview of our in-building program
for Loyal Ears. It was a huge success with the majority of our
staff playing along every day. Whether it was travelling to a
business, answering trivia, searching the building or listening
to the station, there were 3 people who got every possible keyword
answer.
If our audience gets into this program the way our staff did,
Arbitron is going to in big trouble. I hope that happens. Starting
the true program on Monday, so wish us the success we expect to
have.

Hello Jimmy,
Been meaning to touch base with you, forgive me for not doing
so sooner. I've been going through some tough health issues...which
leads me to this. The Rewards game is TOO MUCH FUN. (which is
what I needed right now!!)I have to admit, I for one, was a skeptic,
but this is addicting. Our job now, is to make sure we make this
sound BIGGER THAN LIFE, peak their interset to the point where
the listener can't get enough!
Thanks for the opportunity,
Regards,
EJ Foxx
Who needs station ratings anymore? With
this program we are able to go back to our advertising customers
24 hours after their event is over and tell them the number of
people who came in to their business, their gender, their age,
and their income! Our company is about getting measurable results
for those advertising customers, and this is exactly the type
of tool that can help us achieve that goal! If youre sales
department does not have a tool like this, buy it. Customers are
amazed we have something like this at our fingertips, which has
helped us make our investment back tenfold.

To Everyone @ GRD,
You guys are the best, whoever thought of this game is just the
smartest person. This game helps get me through the day it gives
me something to do on my way to and from school (GRCC). By the
way could you guys come and visit my campus. That would ROCK.
Talk to you later.

I know one thing for sure and that is I will
probably have to take a VALIUM because it feels like my heart
is just going to pound right out of my chest when I bid on anything.
It is so exciting and fun.
I have 2 friends that are playing, too. And
it is even more fun going to the remotes, listening for words
and bidding at the auctions with them.
Thank you and everyone for me, at WLHT for
all the work they do on the Reward Word Program!!

From the outset, working with Loyal Ears has
been a rewarding experience. Their enthusiasm, and open minded
attitude has ensured that the merging of their considerable experience
in the US with the differences of the UK has been extremely effective.
Whilst we are still at an early stage in building a listener loyalty
program for our Group, the early indications are that it is bearing
fruit. I firmly believe that LoyalEars are the best partners to
deliver value from loyalty on air and on line.
Paul Davies/Operations Director/Capital Radio/PLc.
I just received an email from a friend telling
me about this radio rewards program your station has. I think
it is a fantastic idea!! I have not listened to your radio station
in the past but I will definitely do it now. I would like to know
how long this program has been up and running and I would like
to know when it might end? Thanks.

Thanks for answering so quickly. May I ask
(out of curiosity) what the total number of words were available?
Because I just hate it when I miss words! This game is addictingly
FUN!!
Thanks Again! :)

Loyal Ears has helped us turn radio contesting
on it's ears. This program is the first I have ever seen that
marries radio successfully with the Internet to increase listening
and revenue. The prize pigs are gone and have been replaced with
loyal listeners that increase results for our clients and more
listeners for our stations. We have pronounced the registration
box dead!

I signed up for the Email-Club today with
my work computer at the above email address. I was wondering if
I could also get the information from the email club to be sent
to my home computer? I was wondering this because I don't want
to miss any key bonus words this weekend while I'm at home and
visiting you at the EXPO!
:)
Thanks,

Bringing any concept into a new market needs
a certain set of skills, and never more so than from the US to
the UK. Loyal Ears paid particular attention to leveraging the
benefits of our cultural differences, rather than letting them
be a barrier. It's been a pleasure to work with them.

We have been proud to blaze the trail for

After looking at a variety of ways to adjust
listener's habits, Loyal Ears leapt ahead of the pack with ideas
that benefited programming, sales and our listeners. Even after
the initial phase of loyalty programming, the ideas and discussion
continue. A concept from which all of my vendors can learn.

It's not often that you can measure the results
of your marketing dollars, but since our affiliation with Loyal
Ears, we have seen a direct increase in ratings for FLY 92! Their
help with planning, executing, and nurturing our FREQUENT FLYER
program has been stellar.

Loyal Ears can be the best thing that's happened
to the integration of radio and internet yet. It gets you ratings
and can make you money. What a concept!
